Divorce: attorney’s fees: discovery sanctions
CSA No. 56, September Term 2010; CSA No. 1781, September Term, 2009; (consolidated). Unreported. Opinion by Wright, J. Filed Sept. 27, 2011. Appeal from Harford County, Judge, J. Affirmed in part and vacated in part.
The court improperly denied appellant the opportunity to exercise his right to cross-examine witnesses on the matters of both attorney’s fees stemming from discovery abuses and the purchase of a laptop for the parties’ college-age daughter. The court improperly awarded appellee the cost of the son’s camp where appellee did not give appellant notice of the expenses by including them in her complaint.
