Justin Kellam has been promoted to vice president of centralized credit at Mariner Finance. Kellam will be responsible for the development and ongoing day-to-day supervision of a centralized credit group. While multi-functional, the group’s main objective will be to significantly reduce the amount of time required by our field management Kellam will also be involved in efforts to build out our internet lending platform, with the goal of creating a true end to end digital experience for applicants, as well as having oversight of the company’s existing centralized approval office. Kellam will work with the company’s risk management team to analyze portfolio trends, making recommendations for enhancements to credit policy that will improve performance while creating opportunities for incremental business. A graduate of the University of Maryland, Kellam also holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.
