The Baltimore Station readies for Camden Yards chili fundraiser for homeless veterans
The Baltimore Station will bring together a collection of Maryland’s best home chefs to showcase their finest chili creations Nov. 4 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at Oriole Park at Camden Yards to raise funds for homeless veterans.
The Baltimore Station’s ninth annual Stars, Stripes and Chow: Chili Edition, presented by M&T Bank, will feature chili creations by teams representing M&T Bank, Fuchs NA, MartinFederal, BlueHalo, Maryland Multi-Housing Association and Society of American Military Engineers. The family friendly event will feature a kid’s zone with activities for children in addition to live music, food, beverages, raffles and more.
Guests will cast their votes for “People’s Choice” and “Best Theme,” and a panel of judges representing each military branch will crown the “Judge’s Choice” champion.
All proceeds will benefit The Baltimore Station, an organization supporting individuals, primarily veterans, dealing with homelessness and substance use disorder by providing residential and community-based therapy programs.
Tickets cost $40 for early bird adults, $50 for adults; $40 for veterans, active duty, and first responders; $30 for young adults ages 11-20 and kids 10 and younger are free.
