, a commercial agency headquartered in Dallas with a Baltimore office, arranged the agreement for the future sale of the Eastern Shore property, according to a release. The firm released the announcement Tuesday, saying the agreement is contingent upon the planned relocation of hospital operations to a new regional medical center under construction at 10000 Longwoods Road.

The transaction is expected to close following the hospital’s anticipated move in 2028.

The seller in the expected transaction is University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, a member organization of the University of Maryland Medical System, a CBRE release says.

Originally opened in 1915, the hospital campus spans roughly 390,000 square feet in the heart of downtown Easton, presenting what CBRE called “a significant future redevelopment opportunity.”

“This property represents a truly unique opportunity in one of Maryland’s most desirable small-town markets,” CBRE executive John Sheridan said according to a release.

“Given [Bluepoint Living’s] strong track record in downtown Easton, we are confident the team will continue to build on the area’s momentum and deliver something meaningful for the community over time.”
