Crunch Hagerstown signs lease at former Bed Bath and Beyond in Hagerstown
Crunch Hagerstown, part of the Crunch Fitness franchise, signed a lease with Continental Realty Corporation (CRC) for 30,973 square feet of space at Centre at Hagerstown and will occupy the former Bed Bath and Beyond space.
Chad Smith is the franchise owner of this location. The lease elevates occupancy of the 296,791 square foot regional shopping center in Hagerstown to 97%. Melissa Sweeney, CRC’s Commercial Leasing Manager, together with Matt Copeland and Michael Patz of KLNB Retail, represented the landlord, and Ryan Wilner of KLNB Retail represented the tenant in this transaction.
CRC, a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company, acquired Centre at Hagerstown in 2019. The property, located at 17850 Garland Groh Boulevard in Hagerstown, is anchored by Burlington, Home Goods, Marshalls, PetSmart, Regency Furniture, 2nd & Charles, and Party City. MY SALON Suite and AutoZone signed leases at the center last fall.
Crunch Fitness serves more than 2 million members with more than 450 gyms in seven countries, including locations in 41 U.S. states.
Positioned at the intersection of Interstate 81 and National Pike (US Route 40), Centre at Hagerstown includes 10 pad sites with direct roadside visibility from both highways. These sites are predominantly leased and occupied by national fast-casual and quick-service restaurant brands. More than 54,000 people reside within a three-mile radius of Centre at Hagerstown, with the average household income exceeding $60,000.
