Rankings announced for 2025 Best Companies to Work for in Maryland winners

The Daily Record has announced the rankings for the 2025 winners of Best Companies to Work for in Maryland, which identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in the state.

Best Companies is a research-driven program from Best Companies Group, in partnership with BridgeTower Media, that examines a company’s practices, programs and benefits, and surveys employees for their perspectives.

Best Companies Group used two parts to determine the rankings. The first consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices and demographics, worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, which consisted of 75 percent of the total. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

To be considered, companies needed to be a publicly or privately held business; be a for-profit or nonprofit business or government entity; have a facility in the state of Maryland; have at least 15 full- or part-time employees working in Maryland; and be in business a minimum of one year.

The Best Companies to Work for in Maryland honorees were recognized on Sept. 3 at Gertrude’s Restaurant at the Baltimore Museum of Art. The program featured interviews with representatives from each winning company, a message from key sponsors and a winner ranking reveal.
