Vertis to sell Webcraft subsidiary

Vertis Communications Inc. of Baltimore, a provider of targeted advertising, media and marketing services, and Royal Adhesives & Sealants of South Bend, Ind., announced that Royal will acquire substantially all of the assets of Vertis’ indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Webcraft Chemicals.

Webcraft operates under the name Craig Adhesives & Coatings. Based in Newark, N.J., Craig is a supplier of ultraviolet light-cured and water-based adhesives and coatings to the printing and graphic arts markets.

Vertis said the transaction will not disrupt the services it delivers to clients. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
