Nursing care services town hall scheduled in Lutherville

Maryland families, elected officials and health care professionals will discuss the growing crisis stemming from the lack of access to home care nursing services for children and adults living with disabilities during a town hall Wednesday from 5:15 to 7:30 p.m. at Father O’Neill Hall, 616 W. Seminary Ave., in Lutherville.

Expected to speak at the event are Del. Bonnie Cullison, D-Montgomery, the deputy majority whip and a member of the House of Representatives’ Health and Government Operations Committee; Dawn Seek, executive director of Maryland National Capital Homecare Association; Several families affected by not being able to access the home care nursing prescribed by their doctors; and other notable local officials.
