A commercial real estate finance company in Bethesda has arranged $82 million in financing for a multifamily property in Brooklyn, New York.
Walker & Dunlop Inc. announced that it arranged the financing for Clover House, a newly renovated luxury apartment complex located in the highly desirable Brooklyn Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.
Walker & Dunlop’s New Jersey Capital Markets team identified MetLife Investment Management as a financing partner for the transaction, and refinanced the property’s existing debt.
The 158-unit property is near the Brooklyn Heights Promenade and Brooklyn Bridge Park in downtown Brooklyn. It offers studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, and views of the East River and lower Manhattan skyline. The property is projected to be fully leased by the end of the year.
