“After perfecting our menu and processes, we are ready to scale operations with a second location and Hunt Valley represented the next submarket for growth based on its diverse and energetic business environment, as well as the proximity to residential communities,” café owner Hannah Seidman said in a release.

The breakfast café’s existing location is at 215 Washington Ave. in , which is where the eatery first opened in 2022.

Hannah’s Café will occupy 1,967 square feet of space, employing roughly 15. Its menu includes a variety of breakfast sandwiches, homemade soups, avocado toast, bagel and lox, flatbreads and submarine sandwiches.

Solar Gaines, founded in 2009 by Tom Gaines and Hans Wittich, designs, procures, installs and maintains large-scale solar energy systems for developers and commercial property owners and operators across the Mid-Atlantic region.

“We outgrew our existing space but wanted to stay in the immediate Hunt Valley area because our team enjoys the lower congestion and slower pace, as well as the diverse amenities,” Gaines said.

“North Park emerged because of the building’s extensive window lines and the picturesque views. The nearby walking trails, which our employees will use to relax and unwind during the workday, are also a plus.”

St. John Properties acquired the 25-acre North Park business development last summer. North Park’s portfolio features a large conference center, among other amenities, with several retail and options nearby, including the adjacent Hunt Valley Towne Centre.
