A Columbia technology firm that contracts with the federal government has acquired a management firm that also has federal clients.

Quotient Inc. announced it acquired Eden Consulting Group Inc.

Jodi Lare, CEO of Quotient, said in a news release bring project management experience to the company and will help fuel its growth in the federal sector.

David Eden, president and CEO of Eden Consulting Group, said in a news release that the combined company’s federal customers will benefit from increased information technology services. Eden will lead the Eden Consulting Group business, which will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quotient.

Quotient was advised in the transaction by Bowie & Jensen LLC and SC&H Capital.
