For more than 30 years, Amy Elias has aided clients in getting their message out to larger audiences and helped them reach their communications goals through the development and implementation of strategic comprehensive programs.
In 1990, she founded the communications, public relations and marketing firm PROFILES, working with local, regional and national clients from several different industries such as tourism, nonprofits, health care, real estate, law, accounting, arts and entertainment and education. Throughout her work, she has aimed to work with clients and on issues that have a positive effect on Baltimore.
Before she started the company, the Emory University graduate served as the public relations director at W.B Doner & Company, assignment editor at CBS affiliate WJZ-TV, the National Aquarium’s director of membership and promotions and owner of an independent catering company.
With a passion for the city she was born and raised in, Elias gives back to Baltimore by serving on the board of directors for the Baltimore Museum of Art and has previously given her time on committees for CENTERSTAGE, The Maryland Zoo, The House of Ruth, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Baltimore School for the Arts, Maryland Art Place and Songs for Life.
