In 2018, A.C., appellant, was treated in the Neurobehavioral Unit (“NBU”) at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. He and his mother alleged that appellees (Kennedy Krieger Children’s Hospital, Inc., and several health care providers affiliated with the NBU) committed medical malpractice while providing treatment to him.
