Md. contractor gets prime position in $182M Navy contract

, a national security contractor based in , received a prime position in a five-year federal contract worth at least $182 million.

Under the contract with the U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, KeyW will compete for task orders to acquire, field and perform logistics support for tagging, tracking and locating equipment designed for ground, air and maritime tracking. KeyW may also perform niche engineering services such as customizing equipment.

The contract was awarded to six companies through competition; it’s an indefinite-delivery and indefinite quantity contract.
