Senior living community opens in MoCo
The Pinnacle North Bethesda, a retirement community located in one of Montgomery County‘s emerging business districts, held its grand opening on June 8.
The senior living facility is built for older adults seeking a vibrant, maintenance-free lifestyle, according to a release, and will look to offer assisted living, independent living and memory care options.
Aiming to blend comfort, prestige and luxury, the residential establishment was developed by Silverstone Senior Living and is managed by Greystone Communities, a provider of senior living services since 1982.
The property will function on a rental model, offering residents the option of staying as long as they choose.
“The Pinnacle introduces a refreshing rental option for older adults in the greater Washington D.C. region,” said Brian Donohoe, general manager and campus executive at The Pinnacle, according to a release.
“In addition to providing exceptional living accommodations, we also provide high-quality senior care for residents at every stage of life. We’re excited to open our doors and serve as a valuable new resource and living option for retirees.”
Amenities include concierge services, lifelong learning classes, group outings, a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, an art studio and a fitness center. The Pinnacle also houses five dining venues with nearby entertainment, recreation, shopping and dining establishments within walking distance, such as the Pike Central Farm Market and the Kennedy Shriver Aquatic Center.
The $176 million residential community contains 175 apartment homes that range from one- and two-bedroom plans to den floor plans.
The Pinnacle employs 40 full-time personnel with capacity to add an additional 115 jobs at full scale, according to a release.
The Pinnacle joins Greystone Communities’ impressive portfolio of communities located throughout the DMV region, including The Trillium in Tysons, Virginia, The Providence in Fairfax, Virginia, and The Landing and The Riviera in Alexandria, Virginia.
