Roland Park Place expands health services through partnership with Medstar Health
Roland Park Place, a full-service, accredited, nonprofit Life Plan Community in Baltimore, has formed a partnership with MedStar Health to provide medical services to RPP residents in its Ambulatory Care Center and Health Care Center.
Last year, Roland Park Place opened a new eight-story tower with 58 luxury apartments. Utilizing an established, professional and expansive health system is designed to ensure both a consistent continuum of care by increasing physician coverage to five days each week and expand on the service that residents are already receiving in the clinic.
Roland Park Place had contracted with a different entity for each of the providers in the Ambulatory Care Center, including an existing agreement with MedStar Health for the services of Dr. Chantal Youseff. By consolidating the partnership to MedStar Health, Roland Park Place will streamline communications with Union Memorial and other MedStar Health facilities for the transfer of records and coordination of care should a resident utilize their emergency or other services.
Many residents opt to select doctors at Roland Park Place for their primary care. Roland Park Place residents are not required to utilize on-site doctors and the community fees include transportation to and from medical appointments within 10 miles of Roland Park Place.
