The program and corresponding coursework are available at no cost to the apprentice nor the employer because of grant funding secured by the Restaurant Association of Maryland. Apprentices are guaranteed pay increases while in the program and upon completion of the program, they are assured a minimum rate of pay of $25 per hour.

For young individuals looking to pursue a career path in restaurant management, this program offers the opportunity to begin training while still in high school, so upon graduating, they are able to move directly into the next phase of the apprenticeship program.
