Live Casino & Hotel Maryland hosted its annual Day of Service in honor of its 12th anniversary on June 6 to give back to its surrounding communities.
This year’s Day of Service brought together 100 team members who volunteered outside of their work hours at seven community organizations and nonprofits. Team members engaged in specific volunteer activities based on community needs, from food service to unboxing and organizing donations.
The day-long volunteer initiative included efforts at the following nonprofits: Anne Arundel County Food Bank, Community Choice Pantry, The Baltimore Station, Moveable Feast, Maryland Food Bank, Our Daily Bread and Meals on Wheels.
In addition to the volunteer efforts, Live Casino & Hotel Maryland also held a team member food drive to collect nonperishable goods for the Anne Arundel County Food Bank and Assistance Center of Towson Churches Food Pantry. The annual Day of Service highlights Live’s commitment to bettering the communities where team members and guests live and work.
