JASON A. DELOACH

Alexander & Cleaver P.A.
Jason DeLoach, a senior litigation attorney and vice president of Alexander & Cleaver, P.A., in Oxon Hill, has made significant contributions to the legal profession through his leadership roles in bar associations.
DeLoach has served as president of both the Prince George’s County Bar and the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA), where he spearheaded multiple initiatives to improve the legal profession.
During his MSBA presidency, DeLoach implemented new bylaws that diversified the MSBA Board of Governors. He also created committees to interview bar counsel candidates and provide feedback on those candidates.
“He has been a champion for the legal profession, never backing down from difficult conversations or issues,” noted Anna Sholl of the MSBA.
DeLoach established a committee to review and respond to the Judiciary’s recommendations regarding the implementation of mandatory Continuing Legal Education (CLE) in Maryland.
Following the death of Judge Andrew F. Wilkinson, DeLoach collaborated directly with Chief Justice Matthew Fader and the judiciary to enact the Judge Andrew F. Wilkinson Judicial Security Act.
