Ripken Foundation named beneficiary of UA Next All-America game
The stage is set as the nation’s top high school baseball players will take the field on Saturday, Sept. 13 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards for the 2025 Under Armour Next All-America game.
The Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation has been named the official beneficiary of the national showcase, now in its 20th year, Ripken Baseball announced Thursday, adding that a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Ripken Foundation’s efforts to support underserved youth through sports and mentorship.
The all-American game will be hosted in partnership with the Baltimore Orioles, Under Armour, Baseball Factory and the Maryland Sports Commission.
The game will feature 40 of the top high school baseball players in the country. MLB veteran and Team USA coach Mark DeRosa and Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer Sean Casey have been named game managers for the showcase.
This year marks the event’s first-ever appearance at Camden Yards.
“UA Next All-America Game is an opportunity to support the next generation on and off the field,” said Bill Ripken, vice chairman of the Ripken Foundation. “The Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation is doing critical work to give kids a safe place to learn and grow, and we’re proud to have this event contribute to their mission.”
The Foundation, co-founded by Cal Ripken, Jr. and Bill in honor of their father, is a community-oriented nonprofit that uses sports-themed programs and the creation of youth recreational amenities to impact young people and families across the U.S.
