SunEdison sells solar energy systems to German company

SunEdison LLC of , a worldwide solar energy services provider, said a German investment company purchased 33 megawatts of solar photovoltaic systems located in and . Terms of the transaction, including financial details, were not disclosed.

The same company, KGAL GmbH & Co., of Grunwald, Germany, acquired 20 MW of solar energy systems from in the second quarter.

In all, 12 projects, with a total installed capacity of 53 MW, will be monitored, maintained and operated by SunEdison under long-term agreements. The solar portfolio acquired by KGAL has been developed by SunEdison’s utility scale projects division.
