Diabetes group, GBC launch initiative

The Maryland chapter of the American Diabetes Association announced that it is partnering with the Greater Baltimore Committee on an initiative to engage top regional CEOs in the fight against diabetes in the workplace.

The initial program will engage six corporate leaders as role models pledged to provide visible leadership within their own companies.

They are: Brian Rogers, chairman of T. Rowe Price; Charles Monk, managing partner, Saul Ewing, LLP; Carmel Roque, chief executive officer of Keswick Multi-Care; Albert Counselman, chief executive officer of Riggs Counselman Michaels & Downes; Samuel Ross, chief executive officer of Bon Secours Baltimore Health System; and Christopher Brandt, chief executive officer of Audacious Inquiry.
