University of Maryland Clark School of Engineering hosts Mpact Week

The University of Maryland’s A. James Clark School of Engineering will host its second annual Mpact Week, a five-day event showcasing research, education and innovations, October 16 to 22 on the College Park campus. This year’s theme, Disaster Resilience, will highlight the role engineers play in helping prevent, mitigate and respond to disasters. Attendees at Mpact Week are scheduled to hear from the White House, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
