Education:

If you had not chosen your current profession, what profession would you choose and why?

I have not given this much thought since the industry was my first career right out of college and has been a fulfilling choice. However, one thing that comes up from time to time, is computer programming. I have always loved computers, problem solving, and organization and from what I have heard, those skills are a solid foundation to build upon in order to be successful in that industry.

Favorite vacation:

During the three years prior to the pandemic, my wife and I took several trips to Italy. In my book, it’s hard to beat Italy with all it has to offer. The scenery, history, and certainly the amazing food should get anyone excited! On the most recent trip, we had the opportunity to visit Sicily and my family roots for the first time. It’s an experience I will never forget.

When I want to relax … :

I Spend time with my family and friends, lay back and watch my kids play and grow, or watch some TV. Watching my young children with smiles on their faces over the simplest experiences helps remind me to relax and really appreciate life.

Favorite TV shows:

I just finished six seasons of Vikings and five seasons of Friday Night Lights. Very different eras but both are intense stories of family and the journey of life.

Favorite quotation:

There are two quotes that have lived in my office for as long as I can remember that help keep me centered and focused: “Be the change you want to see in the world” from Mahatma Gandhi and “ It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward” from Rocky Balboa.
