TOWSON — Wolf Furniture & Mattress has reopened its first store in Maryland, according to reports from TV station WMAR.

The report notes that the store is located at 1530 East Joppa Road in Towson and that the store’s manager told the station that it is the only one to reopen so far. The manager also told WMAR that Wolf is under new ownership but didn’t elaborate further.

Wolf Furniture was acquired by Art Van Furniture in 2017. It remained part of the defunct retailer’s holdings until it liquidated in 2020. At the time of the Art Van acquisition, Wolf operated 18 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.
