What does it mean to you to be a women-owned business?

Being a woman-owned business and part of the 1% of Latina women in C-suite roles fills me with pride. Owning 65% of VARIDD LLC, and 100% of Pinnacle Software Consulting Inc., I lead in male-dominated industries like construction and technology. My Latina culture is central to my identity, bringing unique perspectives and strengths to the table. I’m dedicated to shattering barriers, creating generational wealth and fostering an environment where my team thrives and feels valued.

What challenges have you faced as a women-owned business?

As a women-owned business, I’ve faced significant challenges, including limited access to capital and intense competition from larger companies. Additionally, I’ve encountered issues with companies misusing my set-asides to win large contracts and unethical leadership has led to unfair treatment, with primes failing to honor work shares outlined in teaming agreements.
