What does it mean to you to be a women-owned business?
To me, being a women-owned business means getting to build something rooted in excellence and inclusion, where strategy meets purpose and leadership makes space for others to rise. I’m proud to bring bold strategies to the table while creating impact and showing up authentically for my team, clients and community. I am proud to be a fast-rising, progressive thought leader in the HR field who has grown my business from one to 14 employees in less than five years, with clients nationwide.
What challenges have you faced as a women-owned business?
Being underestimated and overlooked in certain rooms are real challenges I’ve faced, but they’ve also sharpened my voice, leadership and determination to shift the narrative. In doing so, I’ve learned to advocate for my value, build strategic partnerships and grow through resilience. I don’t just push through doors, I hold them open for others. Beyond my client work, I am committed to advancing the HR field as a professor, speaker, trainer and volunteer for multiple trade organizations.
How do you support women in your business and community?
I champion women in business and the community through paid contracts, coaching, leadership development and speaking engagements. In March, I co-hosted an HR retreat in Baltimore for women HR pros and senior leaders, and this summer I am launching a women’s golf clinic and networking event for HR leaders. Through these events and others, I create spaces for growth, collaboration and connection. I also mentor emerging leaders and speak nationally to elevate women’s voices.
What recent accomplishments are you most proud of?
I’m proud of winning the Baltimore Business Journal’s 2025 Diverse Business Leader Award for my professional accomplishments, community involvement and leadership. I’m also proud of expanding CWC HR nationally with clients in every vertical, and launching an HR assessment that reshapes how small businesses approach their people strategies. I’ve also hosted impactful events and continued to build intentional spaces where women are seen, heard and elevated.
