Wonder, a mealtime platform with delivery, pick-up and dine-in options at more than 60 locations nationwide, is set to open its first Maryland location in on Nov. 6, the company announced.

To celebrate the opening of Wonder College Park, the company will host a community event next Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with live music, samples from Wonder’s partners and giveaways.

Located at 7423 Baltimore Ave., the new eatery will feature meals from prominent chefs, including Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelsson and Michael Symon. It will be in close proximity to the , College Park, hoping to provide a “unique multi-restaurant ordering experience,” convenient pickup, dine-in and free delivery options for the campus community and the nearby towns of Hyattsville, Silver Spring, Riverdale.

Select neighborhoods in Northeast , including Brentwood and Brookland are also relatively close to Wonder College Park. 

Founded by entrepreneur Marc Lore in 2021, Wonder has 70 brick-and-mortar outposts in New York City, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., with plans to expand to 90 locations by the end of the year, the company said. 

Wonder’s “multi-restaurant ordering” concept enables customers to mix and match dishes from multiple chefs and restaurants in a single order, according to a release. The College Park establishment will feature more than 15 emerging restaurants in Washington and Northern Virginia, including Tejas Barbecue, Royal Greens, Streetbird by Marcus Samuelsson, Bobby Flay Steak and others.

Wonder College Park is Wonder’s sixth Washington-area location, and the company plans to open locations in Baltimore’s Canton Crossing, Navy Yard in Southeast Washington and Cleveland Park in Northwest Washington.
