Select Event Group relocates HQ to Baltimore County
Select Event Group, a party equipment rental service, recently relocated its corporate headquarters from Laurel to Timonium after signing a lease with Hill Management Services Inc. for 4,642 square feet of space at 9515 Deereco Road.
Based in Baltimore County, Hall Management Services is a privately owned full-service real estate development company. Select Event Group supplies tableware, linens, tents and furniture for special events. Select Event Group operates several branch offices throughout Maryland and Virginia, and operates two divisions: a regional branch network and Sports & Entertainment.
As the 450-person company looks to expand its Sports & Entertainment Division nationally, it will occupy a section of an eight-story, 142,000-square-foot office tower at the aforesaid 9515 Deereco Road in Timonium.
“Our company has secured many high-profile sporting events nationally, including the NFL draft, LIV golf tournaments, and FIFA World Cup matches, and we envision a long runway to partner with these groups, and other similar endeavors in the future,” Select Event Group President Alex Corgan said.
“We wanted to elevate the appearance and overall environment of our corporate offices to host meetings with out-of-town customers, and needed an upscale and strategically-positioned building as a starting point. 9515 Deereco has strong highway visibility, is near major amenities, and is situated close to where several of our executives currently live.”
Select Event Group’s new headquarters is located conveniently off I-83, York Road and Padonia Road, and is in close proximity to a variety of major retailers, local shopping centers and business/industrial parks.
“Select Event Group’s move to 9515 Deereco represents another example of the flight-to-quality movement occurring among commercial office tenants,” Hill Management Services executive Danielle Beyrodt said.
According to a release, Corgan said he expects about 15 employees to work in the offices initially before “ramping up to the 30-40-person range.”
