EBDI protestors met with city police in East Baltimore

City police were never far away Thursday morning as angry East Baltimore residents marched toward Johns Hopkins in protest of East Baltimore Development Inc., chanting "We want jobs!" and "If we don't work, nobody works!" ANNAPOLIS — Rally organizers have postponed a protest over spending reductions for Maryland schools statewide because of the weather. The rally had been scheduled for Monday evening in front of the Maryland State House. Forecasts are calling for potentially severe thunderstorms throughout the day.
