On the Move, 3/22: Ronson appointed cancer liaison physician at St. Joseph Medical Center

Dr. Stephen Ronson

Dr. Stephen Ronson has received a three-year appointment as liaison physician for the cancer program at St. Joseph Medical Center, of Towson, where he is director of stereotactic radiosurgery at The Cancer Institute.  Ronson, who is a radiation oncologist, is among a national network of over 1,600 volunteer physicians who are responsible for providing leadership and direction to establish, maintain, and support their facilities’ cancer programs.  

Accounting

Timothy G. Richardson has joined the technology solutions group of , , of Baltimore, as a systems consultant. Richardson graduated from Morgan State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is certified in Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 Financials, Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 Inventory and Order Processing, and FRx 6.7 Reporting Design.

Education

received accreditation  in February from the Forensic Science Education Programs Accreditation Commission for both the undergraduate and graduate forensic programs. Only 18 undergraduate and 17 graduate forensic programs across the U.S. and Canada have earned FEPAC accreditation.

Health Care

Dr. Yousuf Gaffar has joined The Cancer Institute at St. Joseph Medical Center, of Towson, as an oncologist. Previously, he served as clinical research director for Alliance Hematology Oncology. He is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology.
 

Information Technology

Mark Tillotson has been appointed vice president for construction management services by Trusant Technologies, of Ellicott City. Tillotson is a former U.S. Army colonel and former vice president with Michael Baker Jr. Inc. The West Point graduate served with the Army Corps of Engineers in the United States, Japan and Turkey, and served in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm.

Recreation

Julieta Stack has been hired as director of instruction by Baltimore Municipal Golf Corp., the nation’s first organization dedicated to the management and operation of municipal golf courses. BMGC operates Baltimore’s Pine Ridge, Mount Pleasant, Forest Park, Clifton Park and Carroll Park courses. Stack has taught golfers since 1989 and worked with BMGC since 1989. In her professional career, she was twice named as an alternate to the U.S. Women’s Open, was an LPGA Tour Qualifier finalist and competed in the Women’s French Open. Stack serves as a board member at the Village Learning Place in Charles Village and is a volunteer mentor at St. Vincent’s Center.
