Gaylord resort at National Harbor checking in guests again

Ryman Hospitality Group Inc., of Nashville, Tenn., the owner of the 2,000-room Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center at , said Thursday that it received word from the that the crisis affecting southern Prince George’s County has been averted.

As a result, the company canceled its decision to close the facility until a failing 54-inch water main had been repaired and water service fully restored.

The Gaylord’s hotel manager, Marriott International Inc., of Bethesda, began accepting guests at 10 a.m. Thursday, and will ramp up operations over the next few days. Full operation of all facilities and services is expected by Saturday.
