College Park-based Route One Apparel is showing its support for other local small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic by offering free face masks to those who need them to interact safely with the public.

Owners and employees of locally-owned restaurants/bars, retail stores, salons, pet grooming shops, gyms/fitness centers and other small businesses serving the public can request a donation of five free masks featuring either the phrase “Shop Local” or “Support Your Local Everything” with the colors of the Maryland flag. Businesses also have the option of purchasing 10 masks for $100 and getting 10 free, or 25 masks for $250 and getting 25 free.

Mask donation requests may be submitted at RouteOneApparel.com/pages/lead-local-business-mask-donation-form.

Route One Apparel is also now offering masks in children’s sizes, and a new four-pack of masks inspired by the Maryland pride-themed mural painted on the outside of the company’s headquarters.

All mask designs are available at RouteOneApparel.com.
