Lee & Associates Md. brokers 4,125 SF lease in Westminster

Lee & Associates | Maryland, a fully integrated commercial real estate brokerage and management firm in Columbia, brokered a lease with Automated Protection Systems Inc. for 4,125 square feet of space at 115 Airport Drive in Westminster.

The 16,340-square-foot single-story building is part of Airport Square, a four-building, 112,000-square-foot business community in Carroll County. Senior Vice Presidents Bill Harrison and Will McCullough represented the landlord, Holland Properties in this leasing transaction. The lease brings 115 Airport Square to 100% occupancy.

Automated Protection Systems is a security systems company which provides services to both commercial and residential customers. Its affiliate, APS Firehouse Alerting, has developed products and provides services to the local fire department companies. Founded more than 25 years ago, the group is relocating from 1100 Business Parkway in Westminster.

Airpark Square consists of 115 Airport Drive; 125 Airport Drive (35,778 square feet of space); 1129 Business Parkway (27,000 square feet of space) and 1135 Business Pkwy. (32,527 square feet of space). Holland Properties acquired the business community early last year and assigned Lee & Associates as its exclusive leasing broker. Each of the buildings offer flexible layouts that provide a combination of commercial office, light manufacturing, warehouse and logistics space within the same bay. The buildings are surrounded by free surface parking lots and feature drive-in loading capabilities.

The business community provides roadside visibility from Interstate 97, the major north-south corridor serving the Carroll County marketplace and is less than two miles from MD Routes 140 and 27.
