Frederick’s SMI Sign Systems rebrands as Modulex

SMI Sign Systems, a Frederick-based integrated architectural signage solution provider, announced Wednesday it has rebranded as Modulex.

The move made on Sept. 1 was motivated by a need to fulfill client demand due to rapid growth and development in the mid-Atlantic area.

SMI Sign Systems has been in business since the late 1980s and on a growth trajectory and reinventing new ways to meet the needs of its impressive client roster. Adding production facilities over the years enabled SMI to add services and products to its portfolio.

Modulex Group, in business since 1963, has eight production facilities globally and a presence in more than 300 cities across 45 countries.
