As managing shareholder and attorney at Baker Donelson Law Firm, Jennifer Curry advises and defends employers on employment and compliance issues. She serves as chair of the firm’s labor and employment health care practice, with expertise in the unique issues and challenges that arise within the health care industry. Curry was at the forefront of developing nationwide policies and training protocols to ensure compliance in the Affordable Care Act.
Curry’s law practice also involves conducting complex compliance and risk management internal investigations for large health practices involving allegations of misconduct at every level.
She has successfully litigated false claims, retaliation and whistleblower cases in state and federal courts.
While a member of the Baltimore City Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association, she is also a member of the Greater Baltimore Committee, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School Leadership Advisory Council and Baker Donelson’s Diversity Committee.
Curry is also the chair of Baker Donelson’s Women’s Initiative Committee.
Curry has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in Employment Law – Management and Litigation – Labor and Employment in 2023 and was listed in Maryland Super Lawyers for Employment Litigation Defense in 2022 and 2023.
She has consistently been recognized as a Rising Star in Maryland Super Lawyers for employment litigation defense from 2013 to 2021.
