Rappaport to oversee management for Baltimore County retail center
Rappaport, a full-service retail real estate firm, announced it will provide leasing and property management services for Reisterstown Shopping Center in northwest Baltimore County.
Located at 11989 Reisterstown Road in Reisterstown, the retail destination joins Rappaport’s roster of properties under lease and management. The real estate company will now oversee $2 million in upgrades to the property, according to a release.
Built in 1964, the 160,000-square-foot Reisterstown Shopping Center is expected to strengthen Rappaport’s presence in Baltimore County. Anchored by Lidl and Lowe’s Outlet, the establishment features a mix of national and local tenants, well-suited as a one-stop hub for dining, shopping and essential services.
“We are thrilled to take on Reisterstown Shopping Center,” Rappaport President Henry Fonvielle said.
“The center is a strong neighborhood asset, and this engagement is an exciting addition to our roster of properties. It reflects the trust owners place in our ability to elevate community shopping centers through thoughtful leasing, active management and a strategic long-term vision.”
In 2024, the shopping center expanded with the construction of a 15,000-square-foot retail building that accommodated an updated Advance Auto Parts spanning 11,000 square feet, according to a release.
Reisterstown Shopping Center features 20 tenants, some of which include Starbucks, Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s, Quickway and Planet Fitness.
Based in Northern Virginia, Rappaport provides landlord, tenant and investment advisory services.
