Urgent care clinic opens in Federal Hill
Aiming to facilitate easier access to quality care for Maryland families, LifeBridge Health has announced the opening of two new ExpressCare Urgent Care locations in Baltimore‘s Federal Hill neighborhood and Hyattsville.
Located at 835 E. Fort Ave., ExpressCare Federal Hill opened Wednesday in the Southside Marketplace shopping center, serving residents of Federal Hill, Riverside and Locust Point. The 6,600-square-foot center takes up space most recently occupied by Berkshire Hathaway, HomeServices and PenFed Realty, according to a release.
ExpressCare Hyattsville, located at 3106 Queens Chapel Road, expands LifeBridge Health’s presence in Prince George’s County, according to the nonprofit healthcare corporation. The medical clinic seeks to offer a convenient urgent care option for residents in the greater Washington metropolitan area.
The Hyattsville and Federal Hill clinics are open every day from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
“Our continued growth reflects a simple mission: making exceptional urgent care more accessible for every community we serve,” ExpressCare Urgent Care President Jonathan Thierman said according to a release.
ExpressCare Urgent Care has expanded its footprint to more than 35 locations across Maryland, he added.
ExpressCare Urgent Care’s Federal Hill opening is a part of continued redevelopment at the grocery-anchored Southside Marketplace, which has recently added retail, dining and service tenants.
In addition, the Federal Hill clinic will offer treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, preoperative physicals and on-site diagnostic capabilities, including same-day STD testing and X-ray lab testing. According to LifeBridge Health, Wellness Services are expected to commence at ExpressCare Federal Hill in October.
