Fearless, the Baltimore-based digital services firm, is now accepting applications for its fifth annual community grant program.
Nominees must be nonprofit organizations and serve Baltimore residents directly; requests must be for program or initiative support; nominees can do work in any space, but preference will be given to organizations supporting youth, especially initiatives related to STEM and education; preference will be given to organizations serving historically underserved and/or underrepresented groups, specifically racial minority groups; organizations must be able to participate in a brief “interview” with Fearless to get to know the people behind the organization.
Fearless recognizes that the organizations it works with have the relationships and understand the community’s needs. Instead of trying to build new infrastructure and strategy, Fearless puts its trust in the people and organizations that are already out in the community doing the work to help others. In 2021, Fearless awards $60,000 in grants to Mentoring Mentors, Pass It On, Let’s Go Boys and Girls, Libraries Without Borders, Junior Achievement of Central Maryland and Code in the Schools.
The company is taking nominations through Nov. 22.
