What is your most significant accomplishment?
I have several accomplishments. Some of those that are most significant to me is being a recipient of the Donor & Recognition Tree from the Nyumburu Cultural Center at the University of Maryland, College Park and a member of the Ambassadors & Friends Wall. I am also the only African woman that founded a nonprofit organization that is affiliated with a major university in the state of Maryland.
How have you mentored others?
I offer to both middle school, high school and college students aspiring to start their own businesses through the annual business idea pitch competition that our organization offers. In addition, I mentor many young girls dealing with low self-esteem issues and married women having difficulties in their marriages, helping them to successfully navigate what to do about it.
