What is your most significant accomplishment?
Leading Aronson’s strategic combination with Aprio was a significant professional accomplishment for me in my career.
Aronson had worked closely with Aprio over the course of a decade as a referral partner and we had the opportunity to really get to know their firm which is driven by their people-centric culture over the course of the last few years. As managing partner-elect at that time, I saw how our missions were clearly aligned to invest in client’s success by investing in our own and that the merger would create impactful opportunities for our team members who now have a larger platform to pursue career growth in practice areas and industries. Last year marked Aprio’s 70th anniversary and Aronson’s 60th – the timing felt right to move forward with a likeminded firm that elevates both its clients and team members equitably.
One thing that became strongly evident to me when we announced the merger to our team members is the huge amount of trust, they had in their leadership team to make the decision on their behalf. I carry that in my decision-making every day which has driven the integration of our teams since the combination became official at the start of this year. It’s been incredible to see what we’ve already accomplished together and we’re all looking forward to what’s to come.
