What product or service do you and your company provide?
I own several companies that span a variety of business interests. In my primary role, I own RS Partners, Inc. an association management firm that specializes in nonprofit organizations. In that capacity, I am employed as the executive director of the Maryland-Delaware-DC Press Association and the executive director of Executive Alliance, the catalyst for women leaders in Maryland.
Professionally, what do you consider your most significant accomplishment to be?
I transitioned from working full time in the news media industry, where I had been employed in positions of increasing responsibility for nearly 20 years, to becoming a successful entrepreneur and starting several businesses that have shown double-digit revenue growth under my leadership. I am especially proud to have created work environments focused on teamwork, trust and personal growth.
