
Dr. Nkem Okeke is the founder and CEO of Medicalincs, Healthlincs and BIND Associates, health care consulting firms based in Silver Spring. Her career spans prestigious organizations, including Johns Hopkins Healthcare, Booz Allen Hamilton and Kaiser Permanente. At Johns Hopkins, she led health care cost-containment initiatives that generated significant results. “Her efforts generated a 3:1 ROI on our investment and a cost savings of over $5 million, and improved health services utilization by >30% across the portfolio she managed,” wrote Edward Kumian, CEO of Priority Partners.
Okeke founded Medicalincs in 2017, creating a firm focused on value-based care and health care transformation. She supervises 23 employees and describes her company as “a leading expert in the design and delivery of value-added transformation management.”
Her commitment to advancing women in the workplace stands as one of her proudest accomplishments. “As an employer and sponsor, I ensure that women are promoted to leadership positions and given employee benefits that are specific to women such as hybrid or virtual employment to be more flexible in juggling work and family,” Okeke said.
