Bjarekull, Manning attending board meeting of national college association

Tina Bjarekull, president of the Maryland Independent College and University Association, and Kevin Manning, president of Stevenson University, are attending the spring meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.

Bjarekull has been on the board since 2010 and was appointed last year to the board’s executive committee and was elected this year to chair the board’s Policy Analysis and Public Relations Committee.

Manning is in the first year of his term on the board and was chosen by colleagues in Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C., New Jersey and New York.
