If you had not chosen your current profession, what profession would you choose and why?
An interior decorator- I love to use my creativity to transform a raw space into something beautiful.
Favorite vacation:
I have fond memories of visiting the Outer Banks with my family when I was a young child. Now, as a parent, I love to visit the Outer Banks with my daughter to experience those same memories. Just to unwind and spend time away with her is the perfect getaway.
When I want to relax, I … :
When I want to relax, I love crafting and decorating. I love transforming something old into something fresh and new. Painting, floral arranging, scrapbooking, etc.
Favorite book:
During the pandemic, I have shifted my focus and tried to choose books that have an uplifting message. Most recently, I read “Girl, Stop Apologizing” by Rachel Hollis. The book inspires women to stop apologizing for who they are, who they want to become and how they plan to get there. An easy read!
Favorite quotation:
“If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?”- John Wooden I try to follow this advice each and every day. Saving time is great if it doesn’t come at a cost but when you run the risk of making careless mistakes by rushing through life, you’re not really saving any time at all.
