John Burton was named vice president of sales, Steve Sutton was hired as vice president of packaging and Kevin McHenry moves to the newly created leadership role of vice president of Arnold Automation at Arnold Packaging.

Burton brings more than 20 years of experience in increasing corporate growth, market share, and sales effectiveness to Arnold Packaging, the 89-year-old Baltimore family business. He joined the company as vice president of projects and process improvement, with his first task being the oversight of construction and transition to the new facility at TPA. One of his main goals will be to heighten the integration of the packaging and automation divisions, as they often go hand in hand, especially with the proliferation of e-commerce. Companies can work with Arnold Packaging to pack their goods and simultaneously find a robotics solution to help process, load and prepare those goods for end users.

Sutton will lead the company’s packaging division and brings more than 30 years of manufacturing experience with numerous international companies, providing a truly global view of the industry. His expertise provides a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in providing packaging, and delivery solutions for a range of companies and products, allowing the Arnold Packaging sales team to target client prospects that span a near limitless geographic footprint. Sutton will work with new and long-time customers to help them take advantage of shifts in manufacturing and consumerism and innovate their workflow to better compete in the rapidly evolving economic landscape. Leveraging his background in manufacturing, Sutton will focus on evaluating client processes and looking for opportunities that allow those clients to be more proficient, effective and productive.

Long-time employee McHenry moves to the newly created leadership role of vice president of Arnold Automation, Arnold Packaging’s productivity division, where he will oversee the daily operations of Arnold Automation. With 20 years of mechanical engineering expertise, McHenry specializes in working with customers to boost productivity and efficiency by designing custom equipment, systems, and robotic solutions. With the challenges of workforce shortages, supply chains, and increasing consumer demand, McHenry says Arnold Automation is uniquely positioned to excel and deliver more opportunities for clients.
