What’s the most important thing you do in your job?
One role I cherish at Council Baradel is heading up the firm’s law clerk hiring program. Several of the firm’s attorneys (myself included) are former law clerks. Meeting the next generation of attorneys and, in some cases, my future colleagues is truly rewarding.
If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing?
I have always envied my friends who pursued careers in the arts. I would love to give the film industry a shot if I was not practicing law and pesky things like money, talent and access were not an issue. For now, the very (very) low-budget short films I produce each year for Council Baradel’s holiday party will have to scratch that creative itch.
