Irvin's Web site alludes to career as cosmetic dentist

Dentist?
The Web site for Lloyd Irvin’s martial arts academy contains a link to what appears to be yet another sideline of Irvin’s: cosmetic dentistry.
That site, cosmetic-dentistry-maryland.com, says that “Dr Lloyd Irvin is a Cosmetic Dentist whose practice is located in Clinton Maryland.” Irvin, the site says, has “performed cosmetic dentistry on kids, adults and has performed cosmetic dentistry through the Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC” and “is now offering Cosmetic Operations starting at $15,000.”
Lloyd Irvin is not a dentist licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia or Washington, according to local licensing agencies.

The Irvins declined to answer questions about cosmetic dentistry for the record, saying it was “business proprietary information.” Information available elsewhere on the Internet indicates that Lloyd Irvin is marketing his services to cosmetic dentists who want their practices to show up first in online search-engine results.
“Come see Dr. Irvin’s $15,000 Internet patient,” promises an online video featuring a smiling receptionist who welcomes you to “Dr. Irvin’s dental office.” The receptionist introduces a white-coated, surgical mask- and glove-wearing “Dr. Irvin” and the “$15,000 patient,” a man sitting in a dental chair who tells “Dr. Irvin” he looked up cosmetic dentistry online and “I found you #1.”
“That’s how we do it,” says “Dr. Irvin,” addressing the camera. “With these type case sizes, you can be #1, too, and they’ll find you over and over again.”
Irvin promotes himself as a marketing expert, and he runs a Web site called mymarketingsecrets.com. The Irvins are affiliated with Glazer-Kennedy Insider’s Circle, which has chapters throughout the country and, according to a GKIC Web site, offers “unusual” marketing techniques that promise to bring “all the business you can handle.”
According to the Web site for Lloyd Irvin’s martial arts academy, lloydirvin.com, Irvin has “taught many different law enforcement and military agencies including the Secret Service, FBI, NAVY SEALS, DEA, SWAT and Bounty Hunters.”
