Harsh K. Trivedi, M.D., MBA, president and CEO of Sheppard Pratt Health System, was elected to the American Hospital Association (AHA) Board of Trustees.

Trivedi is one of seven new members, and he will serve a three-year term beginning Jan. 1.

Since July 2016, Trivedi has led Sheppard Pratt, the largest private, nonprofit provider of mental health, substance use, special education, developmental disability, and social services in the country. He is only the sixth president and CEO in its more than 125 years.
