Crosby Marketing Communications
Raymond Crosby’s proudest accomplishment thus far in his career is building his team at Crosby Marketing Communications with people who have a shared mission and values who want to use marketing and communications to do some powerfully good work in the world.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Crosby joined the firm his father, Ralph, created as its fourth employee. Over the next 30-plus years, the firm has grown to become one of the country’s leading integrated communications firms focusing on clients aiming to positively affect people’s lives and work toward the greater good.
“We want to do great work and have a great impact for clients,” he said.
Crosby gives his time to a number of organizations, including the American Association of Advertising Agencies Council of Governors for the Mid-Atlantic region and the Severn Bank board of directors. The firm, which did more than $200,000 in pro bono work last year, annually hosts an “Actions That Matter” day when it closes its Annapolis and D.C. offices to do community service projects at four locations.
“Part of our culture and part of our mission to ‘Inspire Actions That Matter’ is to give back to the communities that have given us so much,” Crosby said. “We are very fortunate to have a very successful business and the people that work with us and want to work at Crosby really want to make a difference.”
